Brass knuckles and bikers go together like… well, think something up yourself. Meanwhile, we want to introduce you to the Brass Knuckles in Red and Yellow embroidered patch now being carried here at The Cheap Place. It is unique in a lot of ways.
Right off the bat, it probably looks like something out of a sci-fi movie to people who have never seen brass knuckles before. It sort of reminds you of the rear end of a rather large space destroyer, doesn't it? No? Stare at it a while. You'll get it.
To the rest of us, we look at the patch and see a set of brass knuckles ready to do exactly what it's designed to do. And that's not good, at least for the person on the other end. You know the score. We don't have to explain it here.
One of the things we like about this particular patch is the color scheme. Its designer could have chosen a black background with white embroidery. That certainly would have been in keeping with the general design of smaller embroidered patches. But in this case, red and yellow (which actually looks like gold here) do a much better job of making the point.
Could the red be symbolic of blood? It's possible. And if not, pretend it is. Blood imagery gives the brass knuckle image a bit more staying power in the mind. You get hit with these puppies and yes, there will be blood.
Despite its size, at just 3.5 x 2 inches, we still recommend attaching this patch to your shirt, vest, or jacket with needle and thread. Use a gold thread along the outside edge to hide it in the border. Stitch all the way around and you'll be good to go.
